1. Residential development where number of dwellings is between 1 - 9
2. A commercial development with less than 1,000 sq. m floor space
2. A site area between 0.2 to 0.5 hectares. All sites below 0.2 hectares are EXEMPT from BNG
3. A development not used for mineral working extraction or deposit.
